Little Chums is owned and run by a family who live in Pontypool - a real family business run by people who are passionate about childcare and education who have a combined experience of over 50 years, including managing Flying Start in Newport and a fully qualified, experienced Primary school teacher.
Everyday is carefully planned by our dedicated childcare manager to ensure that your child receives the best learning opportunities in our safe, secure, fun and loving environment.
Our carers have been carefully hand-picked for their commitment towards caring for your precious little ones, as well as for their high levels of qualifications and training. All qualifications and certificates are displayed in our entrance or throughout.
All of our staff hold relevant qualifications, which consists of Level 5 in Childcare and Management, Level 4 Advanced Practise in Childcare, Level 3 in Childcare, Level 2 in Childcare, NNEB, Childcare & Education Level 3 or an equivalent qualification. Some staff are Welsh language trained. Our fully qualified and experienced teacher monitors our curriculum and activities.
We enjoy low staff turnover, which means your child will consistently receive care from the same people day after day.
